Do M.Tech in Multimedia Technology is encouraged other than the existing streams in M.Tech??

Hi this is Teja, I'm a CSE passed out in 2012. I wish to do Masters but like to learn out new trends in technology so i thought animations is a better choice but doing animations in MTech have a better career option? All are saying go with the existing Mtech subjects but nt with the existing market.
