If you refer to the placement statistics of many institutions, you may be able to see that the number of campus placement opportunities and the number of candidates getting placed for M.Tech are comparatively less when compared to B.Tech students. But multinational companies like Texas Instruments, Cypress, National Instruments, etc. ., and some other chip manufacturing companies do recruit M.Tech candidates through campus placements.

    Hello Harsh,
M.Tech students are less preferred by the IT Industry compared to B.Tech students. However, they are provided the same payscale as B.Tech students. You might get a comparatively better package based on your experience, market conditions etc. M.Tech students are most preferred for research and teaching jobs.
