As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch, the knowledge that I gained while my course duration has helped me a lot in shaping my career. In B.Tech, you have to study all the engineering subjects, But if you opt for B.Tech Hons. Then you have to study only one of the engineering subjects in more depth. Though the approximate outline for a German SOP is very similar to SOPs for other countries, there are a few minor differences. To begin with, German universities ask for letter of motivation, and not an SOP. They both mean the same document. Further, German institutions are more research oriented, and therefore, applicants are advised to elaborate more on their research experiences and aspirations. Additionally, overseas applicants are also expected to discuss what led them to choose Germany for their higher education, and if the same course is available in their home country, why did they choose to study it in Germany.
