When XLRI ask to submit the marksheet, then you should submit all the marksheets which prove that you have passed the course. So, the backlog sheets are not necessary.

This you have to clear with admissions office. As far as i know, if your new mark-sheet has mentioned all subjects which were there in the semester. It will do.
