Do students from 2nd list gets selected after making a payment online or do we need to inform the management?

The probability of people from second list getting selected totally depends upon the number of people above them taking or vacating the seat.So, if many people leave from first list and it gets exhausted, then yes, those people have a good chance to convert.

There is a chance for you to make it, it all depends over the response from first list qualifiers. After you make the payment, you need to send the complete payments' form to the payments department and they will acknowledge receipt.
