Manipal Institute of Technology is known for its European culture as well as lifestyle. The same is reflected in the recruitment drives where many national and multinational corporations of India visit the institution for placement drives. It's not the fault of university/institute, but the student was extraordinary and proved himself and got placed abroad. So, yes there are international companies which take part in the placement process and recruit only 1/2 out 1000 or may be some times 10k students also or at the extreme time none.
