Students from NSIT gets overseas placement every year by different tech giant firms. Not only computer Science and information technology student gets placement in foreign countries, but other branch students like of Mechanical, Electronics, Instrument, and control get foreign placement offers. Few names of companies that visited NSIT for Foreign job offers are EPIC solutions, Facebook, Google, Lenovo, Samsung, Hikari Tsushin (Japan), Schlumberger, Halliburton. Also, not tech firms like McKinsey offered a mouth-watering package to few NSITians. Well, recruiters generally give more weight-age to candidate internship and project.

Netaji Subhash Institute of technology formerly known as Delhi Institute of Technology has an average placement scenario. Though it is an elite government institution run by state government, but the atmosphere there is not so friendly. It has some brilliant minds but still it is very difficult for the south Indians to adjust there. When it comes to placements, some students got excellent package but not all. There is still a need to improve the college's average placement stats. When it comes to abroad placements, yes, there are some alums working abroad through on campus placements drive. But a company combined judges students from the nation and then shortlists some students to work in their elite part. Moreover, college should not be considered as an abroad job placement opportunity but our own hard work and determination is a must. Also, it’s tough to manage with studies when living in a city like Delhi but it’s all upon the aspirants. Lastly, the college has very well academics and co curriculum but a north India friendly atmos. Hope it helps. Thank you.

Hi, The short and simple answer to this question is yes. Students from NSIT gets overseas placement every year by different tech giant firms. Few names of companies that visited NSIT for Foreign job offers are EPIC solutions, Facebook, Google, Lenovo, Samsung, Hikari Tsushin (Japan), Schlumberger, Halliburton. Also, not tech firms like McKinsey offered a mouth-watering package to few NSITians. Well, recruiters generally give more weight-age to candidate internship and project. I suggest you to take your final year project seriously and be prepared for any questions from your internship. The most important part is your communication. You should be clear and logical. Recruiters start with general questions like, why do you want to join their company? What's your future plan? What's your favorite topic? They generally take you into a loop. If you say IC engine. They will ask you loads of questions from automotive. So, the funda is to improve your communication, prepare at-least one topic nicely and be sincere towards your project and internship.
