Do students from Thapar University get placed abroad?

Yes, they do get placed abroad. According to a recent social media post that I came across in FB page of Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, their students got placed in University of Malta, KPMG, Crimsonwing, etc. Their placement are global just like their teaching pedagogy.

Thapar University has a reputation for attracting a lot of companies including the core companies who are looking forward to readily recruit students from the college for international as well as domestic location. Although, a college cannot guarantee you foreign placements as it is totally dependent on the company and varies on many internal factors like job vacancy at the desired location, projects ongoing at your desired location and your personal preference. A good number of MNCs come to recruit students from Thapar University as the acceptance rate in the college is really low because of which the student quality is really high and so every company readily wants to recruit students from this college. Therefore, I would recommend that you should take admission in this college as college performs very well in terms of placement and would provide you with an average placement of around 7 LPA be it domestic or international placement. Yes this is true that students from Thapar University get placement abroad. The placement from Thapar University is very good in the region with competition from some of the colleges. It offers degree in engineering and management with top class faculty and infrastructure required for the overall development of the individual to be industry ready so that they will be able to get their dream offer, the department of placement of the university ensures that the students get enough opportunities to get their careers moving. Recently, Thapar University has placed 12 students as "Web Engineer" in Tokyo in a Japanese IT firm "Hikari Tsushin" with an annual package of 23 lakh, is it one of the highest packages recorded by the institute. There are tremendous placement opportunities for the students at Thapar University along with great exposure to explore their potential. So it is a good institute to start you with.
