Do such NGOs exist which 'really' work for rural development? Will MBA rural development/mang. get me a job in those NGOs?

I want to do a job related to 'real time' work like those in NGOs etc. What course should i do? The most important question is that do such NGOs exist which give placement to MBAs and genuinely work. Or I should stop thinking about this field?

You can pursue an MSW (Community Development) from reputed Socialwork Schools so that you can qualify as a social worker.
NGO's and CBO's (Community Based organisation) are working for the development of rural areas.
Even these Village Self Help Group are initiated by these NGO's only before Govt. was motivating.
Social Work is not a service and it is a profession. So, learn without expectation and you can get an offer. But social work is a challening professional and suits only passionate people and not job seekers.
