Do summer internships during college provide us training once we get there or expects us to know the tasks beforehand?

    yes it will help you in clearing ur concepts i.e. technical concept. Do ur summer training from company rather than from an institute so that u will gain exposure on live projects. Many companies are offering this services. You will come to know that how projects are developed. let me know if you have more queries. Goodluck

    Summer internships are like a pre-cursor to the jobs you are going to in future. It gives you an idea of your own assessments in terms of knowledge about the trade, skills and how adaptable you will be to the working environment. You do need some basic understanding of your course and its application but they also train you on what they require so you need not worry if selected for it. Some of the benefits of internships are:
    1. Gaining industry knowledge
    2. Getting to know your employability skills
    3. Making professional contacts.
    4. Dealing practically with the day to day issues in a job
