    Yes, the B.Tech. in Biotechnology eligibility criteria differ for the reserved category candidates at BIT Mesra. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories are eligible with a minimum of 45% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in Class 12/I.Sc. or Equivalent Qualifying Examination, whereas the general category candidates require a minimum of 50% marks.
