The eligibility criteria for B.Tech. in Biotechnology at HITS include candidates with 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biotechnology, or related fields from a recognised board. However, there are also provisions for reserved category candidates, including 15% seats for Foreign Nationals/OCI/Gulf Quota, 5% TFW quota, and 10% seats for Lateral Entry. Additionally, there are 2 seats per department under the PMSSS scheme.
