The best solution in your case is to tell them the truth. The designated person in the interviewing panel are experts in judging whether a candidate is lying. They encounter hundreds of such fake certificates every day. It won't take them long to identify about your lie. Everyone goes through ups and downs in life, and they too understand the same.
