<p>The eligibility criteria for M.Sc.+ Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering at IIT Bombay differ for reserved category candidates. Candidates having a bachelor's or master's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Environmental Science and Engineering, Mechanical, Metallurgical, and Master of Science degree in Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Environmental Toxicology, Environmental Science, Life Sciences, Meteorology, Microbiology, Physics, Public Health, Statistics (with Mathematics at the Higher Secondary Intermediate Level) are eligible for Ph.D. admission. Additionally, candidates having a Bachelor's degree in Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Biological Sciences with mathematics in 12th standard are eligible to apply for MSc-PhD admission. Admission for Ph.D. programme is offered on the basis of academic record and interview held twice every year before commencement of the semesters for all categories of candidates.</p>
