The M.Tech. in Biotechnology eligibility criteria for reserved category candidates at NIT Rourkela are the same as for the general category candidates. The minimum qualification required is a B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharm/MCA or equivalent in relevant discipline with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in aggregate, or an M.Sc in Basic Sciences with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in aggregate in relevant disciplines. Additionally, candidates with a valid GATE score are given preference.
