Both PGDM as well MMS students get equal opportunities with respect to industrial exposure as well as placements. During placements both MMS as well as PGDM students sit together.

Best part of SIESCOMS is that they treat students of PGDM and MMS equally in term of placements, internships, facilities and infrastructure. The only difference is name of the degree, one is MMS and other is PGDM. Since, I am a PGDM student, I can say in PGDM, since the colleges have autonomy, the curriculum can be updated regularly depending on the need in the Industry. Hence, one can say that PGDM courses are more industry relevant and up to date as compared to MBA courses. However, university MBA programmes too are of value, it totally depends on the university one wish to do MBA.
    All the best.

The students of PGDM get more industrial experience but everyone is treated equally and likely to get placed as everyone of the same specialization sit for placements together.
