Do we get stipend in summer/winter intern-ship program?

Stipend?
now a days mostly companies give Stipend to motivate students with a slogan "earning with learning" but it is not compulsory. the the amount of the Stipend differ from company to company.

Stipend is decided by the company whether to pay or not. It's not compulsory for a company to give stipend but students from top B-schools do get stipend.
