    Yes, as it is clearly mentioned on the official site that 'Selection Process: Through Departmental Test'.

    Dear Syeda, admissions to all the courses in Aligarh Muslim University is based on the entrance exam conducted by the university. Hence for admission to the course of M.A in English you will have to attend the entrance exam to qualify for the course.
