    The eligibility criteria for M.Sc. (Nutrition and Dietetics) is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Bachelors of Science Degree (Home Science or Medical or Non-Medical or Biosciences or Medical Science and Allied Medical or Nutrition and Dietetics or Food Technology) or Veterinary Microbiology and Parasitology or Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology or Clinical Chemistry or Public Health and Allied Sciences or equivalent.     In some of the courses, LPU NEST is mandatory and in other its is optional which can be given for scholarship purpose.     If you are having above 60% in your 12th board exams then the entrance test is exempted else, you have to give LPU-NEST.

If the candidate is not satisfied with his/her marks in LPU NEST, he/she can retake the examination in the subsequent phases which will be conducted throughout the year. LPU has allowed attempts for the same examination so that students can improve their scores and become eligible for scholarship. It is advisable to use this time between retakes for focusing on weak areas, practicing more mock tests, and revising key concepts to perform better on the next attempt.
