Do we have to give LPU-NEST for M.Sc in nutrition and dietetics? If yes, then what's the syllabus? But I want to give lpu nest for MSc.

The eligibility criteria for M.Sc. (Nutrition and Dietetics) is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Bachelors of Science Degree (Home Science or Medical or Non-Medical or Biosciences or Medical Science and Allied Medical or Nutrition and Dietetics or Food Technology) or Veterinary Microbiology and Parasitology or Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology or Clinical Chemistry or Public Health and Allied Sciences or equivalent. There is no requirement to appear for LPU NEST for eligibility purpose. However, you can appear for LPU NEST to avail scholarship. There are various subjects included in the test pattern of LPU NEST in which English is compulsory and you need to choose anyone subject of your choice. In some of the courses, LPU NEST is mandatory and in other its is optional which can be given for scholarship purpose. The Eligibility is:Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Bachelors of Science Degree (Home Science or Medical or Non-Medical or Biosciences or Medical Science and Allied Medical or Nutrition and Dietetics or Food Technology) or Veterinary Microbiology and Parasitology or Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology or Clinical Chemistry or Public Health and Allied Sciences or equivalent. You are eligible if you have scored equal to or more than 60%. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and scholarship for most of the programmes. This test is MCQ based with no negative marking. In case marks scored in graduation are 60% or above, then LPUNEST will be exempted and the candidate may apply for admission. But if you want scholarship then you are required to appear in the test. For syllabus go through-> ww.lpu.in->lpunest->Dietetics and Nutrition-> information->syllabus.

If you are having above 60% in your 12th board exams then the entrance test is exempted else, you have to give LPU-NEST.
