You don't need domicile for appearing in MAH-CET exam, but you do need to be a Maharashtra domicile if you wish to do MS from any college in Maharashtra. If you are not a Maharashtra domicile, you can do PGDM which is affiliated to AICTE.

If you are a Maharashtra candidate, then domicile certificate is needed. This is because Maharashtra students have a addition advantage during MMS admissions which is conducted by DTE. The cutoffs for a Maharashtra student will be lower than Non-Maharastrian student.
