For UG Pediatrics courses, such as nursing or allied health sciences, NEET is generally not required. However, if you want to become a pediatrician, you must first complete an MBBS, which requires clearing NEET UG.
After obtaining the MBBS degree, those who wish to specialize in pediatrics must clear NEET PG to gain admission into postgraduate programs like MD in Pediatrics.
Therefore, while NEET is not needed for most UG pediatric-related courses, it is essential for medical students pursuing pediatric specialization.
