Do we need to study English language subject in 11th and 12th to be eligible for admission in medical college in India through NEET?

My son will be studying British curriculum AS/A level in Dubai with physics, chemistry, maths, biology subjects. Does he need to take English subject for entry into medical college in India through NEET? If he requires to study English, is it okay to study in AS level only?

Yes, English has to be your subject in class 11th and class 12th to be eligible for admission into medical colleges for NEET.

Hi Aiman, English is a compulsory subject in 11th and 12th class to be eligible for admission in medical college in India through NEET.
