A resounding YES ! I recommend pursuing MBA for the people who are seeking careers in management or entrepreneurship. But there are quite a few disclaimers before I move further into discussion like: Your interests, aptitude, bent of mind, personality type, analytical ability, hobbies and aspirations need to be just right fit for any Masters Management programme. MBA comes in various types and flavors, each has its own standing and importance in professional market. Broadly there are three kinds of MBA programs: General MBA programme or a bit higher end MBA Hons programme. Function specific programs: Marketing, Human resources, Finance, operations, International business, Business Analytics, IT etc. Industry specific programs: Financial Markets, Banking, Insurance, Retail, Hospitality, Health care, Media management, Oil & gas management etc. Before choosing any of the above, you must take utmost care of the disclaimers made earlier in the answer along-with research on the programme outcomes too. Once you have chosen your preferred specialisation, the next logical step is to choose the best B-School for you. I suggest you to do it only from top B-Schools like LPU DVD.
