I have already told that degree is needed only for managerial posts, and if its asked than start your work from a small hotel and only after getting experience approach for bigger hotels. In every field experience have more weightage than degree at non managerial posts.

I think you will get a job even without BHM as a chef because its a experience based job but when its comes for promotion than a degree is always needed to understand managerial aspects.
