Do you need a professional Diploma in Culinary or Bachelor in HM to get job as Chef? in India we assume that a Bachelor in HM will get us a good job as a Chef but outside India (with experience), to get a good job as a Chef you need a professional Diploma in the specified field like culinary, asian

I have already told that degree is needed only for managerial posts, and if its asked than start your work from a small hotel and only after getting experience approach for bigger hotels. In every field experience have more weightage than degree at non managerial posts.

I think you will get a job even without BHM as a chef because its a experience based job but when its comes for promotion than a degree is always needed to understand managerial aspects.
