Do you need strong maths to pursue BCA?

Not at all. Maths is not a per-requisite for a course like BCA. Yes, you'll get few mathematical subjects which needs you to calculate but then you'll be taught how to do them. So Maths, wont be a issue with BCA. Anyways, it depends upon Syllabus to syllabus.

Yes, you can do BCA without mathematics. But somewhere it depends on low of related universities but generally what you compulsory need is English subject as second language in your higher secondary school. So if you have English in 11th and 12th then you can definitely go for BCA. Well many people will give you different suggestions but I will suggest you to prefer BCA. Yes BCA is a really good professional course. After B,Com you will have same question what to do but if you have pretty good programming skill after BCA then you don't need to do any further master degree. You can beat any Computer Engineer in many good software and website development company with good salary. (Here good salary is relative word, e.g for me 40k is really good for me after BCA) So answer for your first question is Yes, you can do it without maths background. Now about scope after BCA.If you want to work after BCA then you can work for may small or medium scale software and website development company or your can introduce yourself as freelancer and you can be your own boss. You can work on your own time and you can accept work of your choice. If you have opportunities after BCA to join MCA then go for it, but choose college and universities wisely. It is really important if you want to work for giant and multinational corporation like IBM, Google, Yahoo, Sun Micro system etc. Yes, my many senior college mates are working with IBM, Yahoo and Microsoft.hence answer is if you have extra ordinary coding skill after BCA/MCA then sky is the limit for you.
