Hello Praveen, As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Now, I can give you some info about LPU MBA placements, from feedback received from some students, as it was your original question. So, yes, LPU provides a good platform for placements for MBA and for all streams. The LPU students have been successful to get a highest package of 28 Lacs per annum from Amazon. The MBA program in LPU has really strengthen year after year because of its well reputed faculty and a good placement record over the years. Over the years, major national as well as international brands like Cognizant, IBM, Flipkart, LG India, SAP have visited LPU campus for placing its students. Apart from that, internships as well as capstone projects are an integral part of curriculum which are very vital for getting placement. A lot of students have successfully started their own ventures as entrepreneurs. The university has its own start up school which promotes start ups in collaboration with startup India program. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. For instancAspiring Minds have ranked LPU as having Most Employable Students in consecutively twice in a row for previous academics sessions. ASSOCHAM (Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India) rated LPU as Best Private University with regards to placements. Zee News Survey rated us as 11th Best in India in Placements. Several Big Brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic session 2015-2016 for campus placements, students training/workshops, faculty development, etc. and the process is still going on at full pace. Around 150+ companies visit every year for campus-placement of students from LPU. And this year already more than 150 placement drives of leading industry giants have been conducted successfully (more than 90% MNCs) for students passing out in 2016. Hello, LPU is really a great platform to pursue your studies. I am an Alumni of the LPU batch 2013 and I had great experience in LPU. I was in confusion when I was seeking admission for my post graduation but after long comparisons of colleges I choose LPU because LPU gave me an extra edge in all perspectives. Great Academics, beautiful Infrastructure, Experienced Facilities and in campus placement. There are plenty of career opportunities after MBA in different sectors of industries like Banking and Finance, Investment Banking, multinationals, foreign banks, public sector undertakings, in effect the whole corporate sector offer bright opportunities to management graduates. The careers in management offers one of the best remuneration packages and perks everywhere. Many students are placed in reputed companies in different cities and some are placed abroad too. LPU has become the landing place of many leading industries for recruitment. It has many top rankings in placements. The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 21 LPA, while many failed to do so. On an average the MBA students of LPU is offered and placed in the starting package of 4.5 TO 6 LPA(Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that. Like I said, LPU will provide you the platform and the opportunity, but it is really you who have to go and perform on the platform being provided.
