Yes, both the UGC and the AICTE have authorized doctoral programs. If you are pursuing a Ph.D. degree at a university, it must be authorized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). If you're getting your degree from a technical school, be sure it's AICTE-approved. My buddies are pursuing a Ph.D.

Yes, the doctoral porogrammes are approved by UGC and AICTE. If you are doing a doctoral programme from a university then it should be approved by UGC or If you are pursuing the same from a technical institute, then it should be approved by AICTE.

AICTE approval is required for technical courses by the institutes only on the other hand ugc is the approval required by the university especially when they award degree
