Grades are important for getting admission into IIM Lucknow. More importantly grades are important once you get into the college for getting a job of your choice. Would recommend you to check selection criteria on the website since marks are allotted for grades during selection process.

Yes, your 10th and 12th grade percentages do matter. They, in total, have a weightage of 2/50 (4%) for getting a shortlist. Here is the scheme of marking: X/XII Marks Points Obtained 95.01-100 1.0 90.01-95 0.75 85.01-90 0.50 80.01-85 0.25 <=80 0 It is difficult to tell you how much to target for you 3rd year. However, graduation marks play a more important role than 10th and 12th. It accounts for 6% of the total marks for getting an IIML shortlist. Also, bear in mind that in any of the top B-Schools in India, graduation marks are very important for internship shortlists as well. So, please put in as much effort as possible for your 3rd year because you may get into a good B-School but you would like to get out of it with a good job in hand as well. You can refer to the following document for an in-depth understanding of the method of generating merit list: http://www.iiml.ac.in/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/cat_poli
