Does 10th CGPA matter during B.Tech admission or in job interviews because I have got low CGPA which is 7.2?

    B.Tech admissions are more or less decided by your marks in HSC or class 12 and class 10 marks does not affect your chances to get selected for a B.Tech programme in most colleges. In job interviews, you can choose not to mention your class 10 marks in your CV. However, even if you are required to provide your class 10 marks, it is mostly for documentation purposes and recruiters look at your knowledge and value creation for the job which you have applied for.
