Does a B.Tech degree from a government college or a private college carry the same value, from government job perspective?

Theoritically, they seem to have same value. From my experience, when you apply for jobs, government degrees are valued. It is perceived that you have got admission through open exams and not through various management quotas. Also, it is perceived that exams are fairer. Real value is getting more k

Hi,
For every government job, separate exams are conducted in which students passed from government as well as private colleges can appear. Based on the marks obtained in the exam the jobs are offered. So there is no difference.

No, both holds same value. Competition is pretty tough to get in to government colleges. So, apply for good private Universities and colleges so you don't end up with limited options in case you can't get a government one. In private ones you can consider UTM (For specialized B.Tech

1) Done a course from govt. college leads campus placements and gives good salary.
2) For govt.jobs asks first class some times, not college.
3)Govt.job gives security with fixed package.
4) Pvt.job gives satisfaction with unlimited earnings.
