Does a PGDM course need to be AIU approved to be equivalent to MBA, or just the AICTE approval is enough?

Aiu approval is not must for institution or university those offer Pgdm but if it's there than value of the degree will more and authentication bcz without it there could be issue for further study or job in India or abroad .
