Well the answer to this is both a yes and a no. Your post graduation mainly depends on the eligibility criteria and admission procedure of the college. Like MBA, MCA, M.Tech , M.E , and others (mostly degree courses), you will have to qualify entrances and in this case it is not seen from where

Hi! A reputed college does add value to a certain extent when it comes to getting a good job but what will matter far more is your course, your score and your knowledge about your subject during the interview - whether this is for a job or for post graduation. All the Best!
