    No, the salary structure not solely depends on if you are Ph.D or not, because Senior Scientists and Junior Scientists both are Ph.D holders. The salary structure depends upon other factors too like; your Organization, your Research field (area of expertise), your industrial experience, most importantly your patents or IPs, how successful your thesis was, the scalability or potentialities in that sector. Sana, these are some of the board aspects that determines your salary. Also factors like your University, your academic profile, your extracurricular (like Olympiads or other competition).
