Icse syllabus is very tough compared to cbse. Icse 10th has 11 subjects where as CBSE only 5. So definitely icse students have studied a lot more than CBSE students and this will help icse students for any competitive exam as well.

All that matters is your score and after that all these secondary things like board score matters but still CBSE gives you an angle and helps you to understand the importance of cracking JEE for getting a good college.
