Does age really matter for selection in IIFT? I am 31 with 4 years of experience. Will it hamper my chances?

Hi Ram,
Per say, Your age will not be a concern for you in terms of admission.
However, Most of us do an MBA for better placement opportunities. Your age may be a deterrent in certain cases
For eg: comapnies offering Sales profiles will want a fresh perspective when it comes to Sales and Marketing. So generally freshers get into such roles. Also, Fin companies look for a cultural fit. If you think you can convince the recruiters about your able candidature and reason for a late MBA, that would be really good.
However, its your call and my personal suggestion: Work for 1-2 years and do an executive MBA
