Dear Aspirant. To be honest, I am not sure about the fashion design programme at AIFD but being alumni of LPU I can say that LPU is the best to pursue a fashion design programme with reasonable fees. LPU offers a fashion design programme with a Diploma. Undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. My friend has done her B. Design Fashion from Lovely Professional University and today she is successfully running her own Brand, she was also part of internship projects with leading Fashion stylists. Also, her designs are appreciated not just in India but even abroad. She always keeps on appraising LPU for different platforms provided by them. I will be sharing a few major highlights of the Fashion Design course based upon her experience. The School of Fashion Designing of Lovely Professional University is doing extraordinary works in the field of Designing. They are conducting Fashion Shows regularly for the students. AIFD is a Institute focused towards imparting quality education to the students in the area of fashion, with the application of the latest technology in the textile and apparel field. AIFD has a dedicated placement cell which will organize for the campus interview from leading, reputed apparel industries and the placement cell also provide assistance and information about the vacancies at the Alumni column of the Institutes official website. The companies related to Garment export, Retail, Fashion houses, and Designers offer employment opportunities. The B.Sc. (3 years) course fee is different for Civilian and Army wards, For Army wards the annual fee is about Rs 231800 (Including Hostel fee), while Rs 263393 is for Civilian. The LPU is a big state private University offering the B.Sc. And B. Des courses in Fashion Design. The LPU' NIRF ranking is 78 among the University. The fee structure of LPU is very costly about Rs 98000 per semester (Without Hostel fee). So from above AIFD offers 100% placement through campus selection. So AIFD is recommendable here.
