I found the following eligibility criteria for AMU B.Com:
Prerequisite qualification is Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination passed with commerce stream with minimum 55% marks in aggregate of english, accounts and any two of the subjects from economics, business studies, business organization, commerce, banking, entrepreneurship, mathematics & statistics.
or pass Diploma in secretarial practice examination from AMU with at least 55% marks.
According to which the answer is No. -
If you're interested to study B.Com then it does not matter what you have chosen to study in class 12th.
If you were a student of Hindi in class 12th as you said and you want to study in B.Com course in AMU, then obviously you have to clear the entrance exam of B.Com AMU.
One thing you should be very clear of, that is Bachelor degree of commerce in being offered through this B.Com course then obviously commerce will certainly be asked in the entrance test. That's why it is advisable to study commerce to take B.Com.
