    An MBA stands for Masters of Business Management and is provided by universities. Postgraduate Diploma in Management or PGDM is provided by private business schools and institutions. There isn't much difference between the two programs except slight variations in curriculum. MBA has a more theoretical approach and have to abide by university guidelines but PGDM has the liberty of teaching students soft skills and engage them in activities better preparing them for the industry.
