Does an student out of India require any permission to study in Maharastra

I am a student of Indian origin studying in UAE and would this year like to relocate to Maharashtra for under graduate studies. Do i require to secure any permission to take admission form any authority?

If you are a person of Indian origin or an Indian citizen staying abroad, you do not need any permission. If you are a foreign national then only you need to obtain students visa. Further, you need to get AIU equivalence of your qualification before applying
