Yes, ANUCDE admissions for UG and other programs are held on the basis of merit. Students can apply for their favorite course by visiting the official website of the institute. With a fairly decent score of 85%, interested candidates can apply for their favorite programme through the admissions portal at the official website.

ANUCDE admissions are held on the basis of both merit in previous qualifying examinations, as well as entrance exam. For the majority of courses, students can apply on the basis of merit from their qualifying examinations from boards like CBSE, ICSE, BSEAP, etc. For admissions into the MLib course, students would be required to appear for the Andhra Pradesh PGCET examination.
