Does architecture have scope?

After completing B.Arch, there are multiple opportunities equally in private and public sectors. - Skilled professionals can seek employment in government organizations such as city development, state and central public work, departments, municipalities, housing and urban development corporation. - The most advantaged scope in the field of architecture is private practice. After gaining some experience in an organization, the architects can set up their own company. - Professionals in this career can also opt for teaching jobs in universities and colleges. - A skilled architect, to work as a consultant or to set up private practice, should register with The Council of Architecture before beginning their profession. The Council of Architecture constituted by the Government of India is charged with the responsibility to regulate the education and practice of profession throughout India besides maintaining the register of architects. - Individual architects or architectural practices can opt to specialize in one number of fields such as, hospital, housing or educational services. 2) One may work as : -Drafter -Consultant -Sales Engineer -Building Inspector -Consulting Engineer -Technical Architects -Construction Estimator -Professor Or Researcher -Construction Project Manager 3) Some of the top Indian organizations are : -Hafeez Contractor -Manchanda Associates -Architect Consultants -VSA Space Design (P) Ltd. -Edifice Architects Pvt.Ltd. -Chitra Vishwanath Architects 4) Salary : Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc. But, to give you a brief idea, - Engineer in trainee level can expect income around Rs. 10000 - 12000 every month. - Within a short span of time, the salary can go up to Rs.15000 - 20000 every month depending upon the experience and the work. - In government sectors, the pay scale is not rewarding as the private sector. - Architects practicing through their own organizations could earn a lot, and this could be from thousands to lakhs. - Consultants charge somewhere around 4 - 10 percent of the total cost of construction in case of apartments and multi-storied buildings. In architecture there is a lot of scope of that, we have entered the 21st century and India is a developing country, from last few decades architecture has entered the country with a boon. Be it the metropolitan or any small town scenario has changed totally. Even try compare your surroundings with that 2 months before you will notice a lot of new construction around. People are now becoming aware of the modernism that has entered and they are trying to compete with the growing country. With the growing demand new colleges are now opening up to fulfill the demands be it the design field or architecture. New architects are coming out of the set up box of 'job' and trying to establish their own identity. "Architects are not job seekers, they are job providers"

Hello, I would like to tell you one thing. If you have interest in a field and if you give your 100% and do the best, every field have scope. Architecture is a very good field. If you are a creative person, it has very good scope. Blindly go for it. Creativity must be needed. All the best.

Yes, Scope is wide. Since the last decade, there has been increased requirement for luxury accommodation, shopping malls, renovations, alterations, and uniquely designed buildings. So, a profession in architecture is very rewarding nowadays. Architect salary in India offered to well experience incumbents by different private organizations is depending on the productivity and value addition to its revenue as well as brand. Whereas in government organizations these salaries for architects is based on government pay scales. Experience strongly influences pay for this job. A skill in Project Coordinating is associated with high pay for this job. Minimum salary can be INR 1518K Per month for the beginners but for an Architect, who is at Senior Position, for him it can be 2,50,000 INR Per month.
