Does B.E. in electronics have future scope?

Absolutely, yes. It is a sought after branch of engineering and lot of students pass out each year. Yes, there is a question of practical skills lacking in students as much is required in the industry, but there is not dearth of opportunities in varied fields in India and overseas too. ECE students can develop an exciting career in industries like consumer electronics manufacturing organisation, government sectors, Telecommunication & IT industries, Health care equipment manufacturing, Mobile communication (2G,3G,4G), Internet technologies, Power Electronics, and other industries like steel, petroleum and chemical industry etc. Salary is also very good starting from no less than 25k per month on average to reaching very high based on the kind of company and job role and the graduating college. Also, industries are adopting robotics, automation technologies, smart energy systems, Internet of Things (IoT) into their process. So the scope is excellent. Make sure you like the subject and pick it. Take up interesting internships and summer projects and avoid blindly taking the IT route.
