Does B.Sc. nursing come under AC4 category or another category?

Nursing at MES College of Nursing: seat distribution is given as 50% Government quota, 35% Management quota, and 15% NRI quota.&nbsp;</p><p>“Government quota” means seats allotted by state counselling authority (e.g. LBS Centre in Kerala) on the basis of merit + reservation rules (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS etc.) that apply under state norms.</p><p>“Management quota” seats are filled by the College's management, independent of state‑quota allotment.&nbsp;</p><p>Hence for admission to B.Sc. Nursing at MES, applicants are treated under these quotas/reservations — not under any “AC” system.</p><p>&nbsp;What “AC4” refers to (in other context)</p><p>The term “AC4” appears in the admission process of IIM Ahmedabad (and some other business‑schools) — there, “AC” means “Academic Category”. For example, “AC4 &amp; AC6 (Engineering, Architecture and Technology)” refers to applicants whose undergraduate degree is in engineering/architecture/technology.&nbsp;</p><p>That “AC‑category” is used to ensure diversity in academic background when selecting candidates for postgraduate management courses.&nbsp;</p><p>So “AC4” is specific to that (business school) admission framework, not a general quota/reservation classification in Indian higher‑education admission across all courses.</p>
