    The east campus of Netaji Subhas University of Technology promotes extracurricular activities through its main sporting event which consists of the boxing tournament. Students from B.Tech Computer Science as well as classmates from diverse branches actively join the tournament. The statistics on student participation show that around thirty to forty percent of the total campus membership takes part in boxing sports each year. The CS department provides 15 to 20 participants to the inter-departmental boxing tournament that occurs yearly.
