Yes, B.Tech have scope other than government job if you have done B.Tech from good colleges or universities.

B.Tech has a lot of scope. Don't believe in the rumours that B.Tech are jobless. It's not if you have done from a good college and yes branch also matters. If you are a CSE ECE IT graduation with good skills and knowledge that definitely you will get placed in a good MNC. If you are saying except go

I won't say enough jobs. But yes, you can get a job in the private sector if you are from EE branch. For mechanical, it is difficult though not impossible.
