Does BA hons english falls under the category of performing arts or not?

I think that we can't call it a performing art.We may however receive the same artistic pleasure which is possible with performing arts.Pleasure can be an ultimate criterion,in my opinion.Unfortunately,such people who pursue literature for pleasure are rare.
