    Biomedical Engineering is a developing field. In India, it is still at a very nacent stage. Biomedical all together is a very vast field with several domains. The jobs for Biomedical Engineer are broadly divided into following:
    1. Research and Development: If you want to pursue a Ph.D. and then further enter the research field (academic as well as industry) - This field has enormous potential and lots of money, but currently in India very few companies are doing RnD. Internationally it has a very huge scope.
