Does Biotechnology course involves Genetic Engineering subject?

Biotechnology has emerged as one of the most powerful tools for sustainable socio-economic transformation. Modern biotechnology and emerging innovations from it have paved the way for developments in areas like agriculture, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, environment, forensic Science etc. Biotechnology has been used for breeding of animals and crops and producing useful products by fermentation. It is used in dairy and poultry, textiles, leather and food sector also. Genetic Engineering is very important subject of this stream and plays very important role in biotechnology based products. B.Sc. Biotechnology is one of the best courses after 12 class in non-medical or medical stream. The job opportunities in this sectors are increasing nowadays. One can have best job opportunities in industrial field as well as research work. But, one must have good knowledge of subjects offered in B.Sc. Biotechnology. In my views, PCTE College of Biotechnology situated in Ludhiana, Punjab is one of the best colleges offering B.Sc. Biotechnology course. Faculty of PCTE biotechnology provides quality education as well as practical knowledge of subjects offered under this course.
