B.Tech. Biotechnology is an undergraduate Biotechnology course. Biotechnology is a field of applied biology that involves the use of living organisms and bio processes in engineering, technology, medicine and other fields requiring bio-products. B.Tech in Genetic Engineering is one of the newest fields of engineering that is still being explored by researchers and scientists across the globe. This branch of engineering deals with the study of foreign DNA and developing synthetic genes that can be used to replicate living organisms. So both of the courses are different, hence Biotechnology does not includes genetic engineering courses.
