No, the selection is through JEE Mains exam. If you have a good score in it then you might get the college.

6 years agoNo, it takes admission on the basis of JEE score. For all B.Tech programs JEE Mains is required.
All the IIT aspirants have to sit for JEE Mains. The selection will be based on the candidates' AIR in the said examination. -
Hello Aman,
Today, I will clear your misunderstanding as BIT is one of the prestigious GFTIs college.
GFTIs mean government funded institute so it is managed by government of India.
It does not take admission through its own entrance exam.
Admission should be done through JEE rank whose rank is less than 50k and counseling is done by josaa. So, if your JEE rank is less than 50k then you take part in josaa counseling after the results of JEE advance exam to get selected in BIT Mesra.
Best Wishes -
No, it does not. Admissions for BIT Mesra are conducted by the JoSSA and the procedure is very much similar to the NITs. If you want to take admission in any extension center of BIT, then you will have to visit the respective campus and apply for the admission there.
